lumpy/missing when cold idle
hi guys.
i have a 56 plate e91 msport, very lumpy on idle almost feels like its missing, had a fault on all 4 plugs so changed controller and reset codes yesterday, what could cause these issues, idle can be a bit jumpy when warm too. whats the best thing to read it? anyone near west yorkshire lol thanks in advance. shawn |

It could be a few things, Injectors, fuel filter etc. Hopefully a kind fellow forum member near you with Carly or fault reading equipment will plug it in for you. I take it it's the 320d? Have you ever changed the breather ? |

Just a good old diesel 4 banger. Not had it long. Breather? Was thinking injectors but not sure how to find out. Without software and plugging in. Not sure if anyone local.

Maf sensor does not always throw up a code. My E90 330i used to run lumpy first thing in the morning. Since I changed the sensor it has been perfect. If you go this route, a reset may be in order to let the ecu know that a new sensor has been fitted.
