Angry MHD BEF successfull but have issues . Help !

Hello ,

good evening community , so i decided to do the MHD flash , bought the module and backed up the original bin file from the DME . I uploaded a custom Map from the links on this forum " Pump IEJOS " . I am running Full bolt on on pump gas , i have 3.5 bar map sensor so i changed to " 1 " in the N20 field of the JB4 . Also when i upload the Custom Map i checked off ( 3.5 ) bar map sensor . It says to place the settings to 4,2 which is for BEF . This is were i am confused ?

1. i have JB4 mobile app with Rev 3 connect .

i place the speedo in # 4 which is 40 MPH and the Tacho in # 2 which is 2000 RPM's but when i exit the JB4 i have to use the +/- on the stering wheel , so when exiting it moves my # 4 back to zero because i have to exit the JB4 . So how is it supposed to stay in 4,2 ? thats my question .

Next question is now i am over boosting like crazy and the JB4 switches to Map 4 automatically . In the settings of the JB4 phone app do i need to change something ? am i missing something ? i cant even do logs at all . Much input will appreciated . Thanks again everyone in advance .

You asked for it.. Downloading a custom map from the internet.. You're lucky your engine is still running.

I'm amazed how some people think it is a good idea to download maps of internet forums. Get your tune done by a tuner with a good reputation - one that can help you if things go sour.

Yeh that's not just any map. Those are from Terry at BMS and are designed to just handle the non-wastegate tables to get around some limitations of piggybacks.

OP: Your best bet is to ask those questions on the N54tech forum.

The whole JB4 setup is so complex you need the spend a few hours on the forum reading then a few hours sat in the car messing with your steering wheel buttons. My advice would be to drop the JB4 and just purchase the full MHD license. JB4 has had its day IMO.
