I'm looking for opinions on the Simoniz 8" random-orbit polisher. Good, bad and ugly.

it is only 20 bucks so what are you thinking of using it for? For helping spread wax...I guess ok, but The whole bonnet system is iffy. You need to get quality bonnets to reduce the risk of hurting you paint.

But as for paint correction and swirl removal, it really will not do anything..

But yeah it is only 20 bucks and if you just want to help spread wax...try it if you want, (i personally think it is a waste of 20 bucks; but you asked)

I agree with oneshare, it's a waste of money, and will probably do more damage than good. You can apply and remove was easier and quicker by hand imo.
