Looks about right, compared to what mine's like on the road.

Having said that, I better keep my gob shut until Saturday

well I've driven a stock 320 before and loved the handling, 100% spot on.

I found the power or more the torque low down amazing. Pulling around bends or country lane stuff was awsome. It topped out a bit on a motorway, but compared to my Nissan it would be brilliant.

I would have to change driving style quite a bit to get the best out of it I think.

Next time, with you permission, and FULL UNDERSTANDING (sorry Kin, should have explained better!) I will indeed test it out to see how it compares to stock.

Likewise you can have a go in mine if it's working :/

Why is the torque figure so low?

Sorry I meant to put a sarcastic smiley after my quote, but forgot

Although peak torque is good and well over what BMW claim, it's for a very short duration and drops off very quickly IMO

That is a fantastic result alright. I wonder how it would compare to the wife's car which has a tuning box in it. I really don't think it would be putting out nearly as much as that.

Certainly will do. Even if they're poor compared to yours. Honest. No "Scanners broken" excuses.

Mine's a Steinbauer P-Box, so a injector duration tuning box - I've often wondered how it compares to a "proper" remap, so (different RR's etc aside) hopefully I'll get a comaprison to yours.

Typically, a few days before the RR I was on my way to work thinking "is something wrong, it feels to be lacking". Might just be because it was quitea bit warmer than it has been.

my car has about 25k on the clock so the engine is broken in and i just did 70 miles with it so it would of been warm,

Hi JJ, can you please clarify something for me.

Your plot shows 195bhp which is the rear wheel horse power and not the engine horse power - is that correct?

If so then your engine horse power is more like 230bhp (15% loss on manual car)

Does that mean then that theoretically your car went from 163 bhp (stock) to 230 bhp (superchipped)?

JJ's car is a manual, so we could use the Dyno dynamics conversion to BHP.

Cheers SJ for clearing that up. I was finding it very hard to believe that it was 195 wheel horse power.
That is very similar to the tuningbox claims then.
