Replacing an old flat tire
Hi guys,
a couple days ago, my car had a flat (rear right) from hitting a pot hole on the highway. I've got a new tire mounted on the car now, and I am just wondering if its alright to have 3 old tires and 1 new tire. or should I replace the other (left) rear tire as well? the original ones had about 3000 miles on them. thanks for your help in advance!! |

3000 miles? NAH, not unless you've been really hammering on them you should be good to go.
30000 miles then yeah, I'd prolly replace all 4 but you should be good to go and not even notice a little... Unless you've been just thrashing the hell outta them.

If you do feel something odd or not right, then I'd just replace the other rear only. Having them matched left and right should provide a perfect ride. But yeah I'd say your fine unless you feel something wrong.
