Is this a good price for this set? Been eyeballing this upgrade for a while [/QUOTE I've seen it for only slightly lower so that is a good price. Make sure you order the installation kit (shown at bottom) as it's needed to replace all nuts and bolts. |

The kit comes only with the nuts for attaching the arms to the wheel hub. The nuts and bolts that attached the arms to the subframe are not supposed to be re-used. These are the parts that come in the installation kit.
Some people are comfortable with re-using the nuts and bolts, but, it is probably a little risky. For what it's worth, Bentlley is clear about renewing all the fasteners. |

One additional risk with reuse is if the person is not the original owner of the car, there is no way to know for sure the bolts have not been reused already. So a person not switching them out will now be reusing a bolt possibly more than once. Not worth it to me.

I'm probably anal about this sort of thing, but, I've had self inflicted screw ups in the past. |

They are oval shape: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...h/33326760668/ https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...t/31106767496/ I have re used many with success, like 9 out of 10, multiple times. |

Right, I missed the part then on why can't they be re-used? lol What makes them not be able to hold torque again?

Like I said some BMW self locking nuts are oval, not round. Take a close look:

There's no reason not to use new hardware. You're taking it all apart anyway, why not spend a few extra bucks to refresh all the bits that could have potentially experienced wear?

There may or may not be any performance gain by getting the m3 control arms for the rear. However, if you had the m3 control arms for the rear, your rear tires will have a natural .75 camber like the front. As a result, your tires both front and rear will wear evenly under spirited driving conditions. If your stock rear control arms are over 100k, you should consider the m3 control arms for the rear. They do not cost a significant amount more than OEM. |

If it's a ZNS fastener it should NOT be reused. If it's a lock but equipped bolt and but combination the screw is typically not torque to yield. The Bentley manual details all the fasteners which are torque to yield. If they do not get replaced you will not maintain proper axial load.
