It's also telling that Lexus' lawyers have trademarked the IS300C designation, since therés nothing to slot in between the current entry-level IS250 and the markedly dwells powerful IS350. For Therés not filing an IS-FC, but if Lexus finally you decide to provide the coupe people crave and do serious battle with the BMW M3, it's just to matter of pop Time before we see some derivation of that name up in the trademark office.

I think it looks nice and I like the 4 door version a lot. In black this car would be beautiful. Does anyone here like the looks of any competing sport coupe/sedan?

Okay...competing sport sedans/coupes I like in comparison to the e9X's...

1) C-Class looks better than the e90 but bland compared to an e92
2) A5 looks better than/equal to the e92
3) A4 is a little dull looking, but still better than a stock e90
4) G35 not as good looking as e90, but still not bad
5) G37 not as good looking as e92, but a little better than the e90
6) The IS looks plain ugly to me. Blobby, bland, and sorta...well definitely not ghetto...but I can't put my finger on the word I want to use. The grille kills it for me, and it just looks so meh to me. Before I was really, really into car design I thought it was pretty cool, but now I think it's a mass of subparness rolling on wheels.

I agree with everything you said except 6 - I think the IS looks ok. I was browsing the Audi website the other day and damn the A5/S5 is a gorgeous car, mad props to Audi, but I still love my E92.

Nice summary! I agree on most things (particularly 6

what an ugly car with four wheels). I think the C-class front looks better than the E90, although the rear is just straight up weird. That being said, I do think the A5/S5 looks better than the E92, although the price differences makes it rather unjustified.

Lexus always gets flamed here just as any other Japanese manufact. gets flamed on every Euro forum because people dont' look past the roundel. Its annoying. I'm not saying you must like it, but...damn all the douchebagness...sheesh.

No way am I holding any sort of bias against Lexus. I like the cars for what they're good for, and that definitely does not including having a sporty demeanor, which I value most in a car.

And looks are subjective. I personally think each one looks like a bar of soap with melted looking headlights and taillights that don't share any cohesion. Not my style, but don't get offended for my preferences.
