Carly App will not unlock for battery reset

I have the Carly app with the Carly ODB adaptor for IOS. I can connect to my E90, 2011. But when I want to reset the battery the Carly app would look for 'connecting to ITunes' and never get to iTunes. Has anyone had this problem. I sent a email to Carly technical support and they said to reinstall the software, And did they, but it did I not fix the issure. I told Carly and they have not answer my question.

Carly is looking for the iTunes "authorization" key for the battery reset function.

However since you are connecting to the OBD via WiFi it is attempting to use that as an access point and fails.

Make sure that you can surf the net and log into iTunes via your cellular connection or home WiFI first. Then from the Carly app select the battery registration to "authorize" Carly to perform this function, before going to the vehicle.
