Trying to get info on the Individual info on a BMW.

When input on BMW VIN Decoders, the info is not accessible.

Anyone know how to obtain this info?

VIN is not on file:

E0003 - The chassis number entered is not on file with BMW NA. Please review which of the following reasons apply here:1-Incorrect VIN entered. 2-Warranty validation is required (for example - Military Sales). 3-Recent Spartanburg production (last seven digits of the VIN begins with the letter "L"), if allocated to BMW NA, this information will be available shortly. Validations: See BMW SI B01 12 04, MINI SI M01 06 05, or MOTORRAD #04 008 05 (046)

Usually this happens when:

- Incorrect VIN/typo
- Vehicle has salvage title
- Vehicle is located overseas

As can be seen in post #1, this is German Vehicle.

Upholstery Leder Dakota/schwarz/akzent Rot - LCL3

For any Individual content, one of these two descriptions should be listed:

Color Sonderlackierung - 490
Upholstery Sonderpolsterung - Z1XX

There is nothing Individual on this vehicle, that's why there is no Individual info.

Dude, go to www.bimmer.work. I can get a list of my individual stuff through that site if I type in my VIN number. It's very detailed.

You need to ask BMWAG... that's from their database.

If I check my brother's Individual M3 VIN then I can see the complete Individual work order. So the issue is with your VIN and having no Individual content.

It does have Individual as I have seen pics. Trying to find out exactly what it has.

Perhaps 9AE/909/910 is reason info is blocked?

Again, here is another EU VIN. Notice it has no reference to BMW Individual at bottom. As VIN I am inquiring about clearly has BMW Individual as noted on bottom of screenshot in post #1 and post #11.

Leather doors/dash.

9AE/909/910 has me now wondering if this was a one off/mule and that's why access to data is restricted.

Leather Dash is 4M5 and it is not listed in that VIN. This looks like retrofitted after production by someone other than factory/Individual.

Incorrect. My suspicions were correct.

Access is locked by BMW as I suspected. BMW Individual Person confirmed. It's a development vehicle.

So only way to get more details on the Individual parts is to buy them, which I am not going to do without more details.
