Best Rims ≤ $1,250
Hey all,
I am looking for the best rims less than or around $1,250. I have looked at ESR, Vordoven, and Cosmis wheels. I am really interested in the BBS LM style rims, but damn they're expensive lmao. I dig the chrome/silver look! I am open to suggestions/recommendations

Appreciate the support gents
OP, we are located in the Bay Area as well. Please let me know if you have any fitment or product related questions. We know the E9X chassis very well. - Ryan

You can always get Varrstoens to start off with if your on a budget, they have BBS Reps. ES1 (BBS LM Reps) and ES5 (BBS RGR Reps), you can get a new/used set for about 600-1200 wheels only.

Is anyone familiar with ESR Wheels and their build quality? I mean the price is great for the looks but if quality will be hindered I obviously wont buy them. Is Apex good, too?
Just trying to be smart with what I invest my money into.

There are two new designs arriving right around the corner as well (June). Since you are local, you would get the pleasure of seeing these beauties in person. - Ryan

I am also in the market for a set of LM reps. Do any of the forum sponsors sell the Varrstoens?

I would go with Apex wheels in the first place. They're light and strong, and for the price they cannot be beat. They're only a LITTLE bit more than the ESRs/Varrstoens too. Whereas if you go with reps like ESR, etc. you're going to get a pretty heavy wheel for the most part that won't be flow-formed.

They are typically every other Friday night, it usually depends on the turnout. There are a couple clean E9x's that turn up. If you drive by on Friday nights it is fairly obvious if there is a car meet or not.

I have a used set of Varrstoen ES2's (TE37 Rep) laying in my garage. Wheel sizes are 19x9.5 et20 and 19x10.5 et22. They were a set of project wheels that I never got around to finishing so they are sanded, but not painted yet.
