CG order

I plan on placing an order with CG soon. I have followed the detailing threads closely and have learned a lot. I love seeing the pictures of the details you guys have completed. I hope that I can learn how to do such a good job. I have always used good washing practices on my sapphire black 335 xi and it still looks great after one year. The are a few minor swirl marks but nothing too bad yet. To this point I have always used over the counter products. I want to get more refined and a do a better job of detailing and protecting my car. I ordered a foam cannon a few days ago. I love seeing the pictures of the whole car covered in suds. My neighbors already think I am a freak for washing my car once or twice a week, but the foam cannon will put them over the top.
I am trying to put together an order for CG products. This is what I have on my list so far:
Citrus wash and gloss
Max Suds II
I also want what is refered to on the other threads as CWC but I can't find it on the CG's website.
Window cleaner
Green Clay which I can't find on the website
Synthetic quick detailer
Wheel wax guard
Bare bones
Fade 2 black
Jetseal 109
50/50 wax

This is what I would like to know:
I want to detail the whole car...wheels, tires, wheel wells, engine bay, interior etc. Do you see any things missing on my list?
I want to buy a porter cable with some lake country pads and the appropriate product to remove minor swirl marks. What do you suggest? I see that CG sell the porter cable but it seems priced a little higher than what is mensioned on this site. Where is the best place to buy a porter cable? I also see guys talking about a flex. Is the flex to advanced for a beginner like me?
If I call CG directly will they give me a discount if I buy all the products from them?

Thanks in advance for your help

Yeah, definitely call in and talk to Paul. He's great. I just placed an order with him Friday.

I went into CG today, and met Paul for the first time. Totally a chill guy. Got some new products. Can't wait to try them out.

Paul told me to get the blue clay instead of the green clay. Blue is bigger and better. Green clay is not on the website. CWC = Citrus Wash and Clear. It is identical to Citrus Wash and Gloss without the glossing agent. If you get CWC, I would drop Maxi Suds.

Add Grime Reaper as a previous poster said. Consider One Waterless car wash with wax for days you want a quick wash. One Waterless with wax can actually replace the Wheel Wax as it can be sprayed on wheels as well - learned this during my visit. Think about Citrus Wash Wheel and Rim cleaner as well. I would stay away from a rotary if you're a beginner unless you have access to a professional to give you hands on assistance.

I would not do the order online. Call and talk to Paul so you can build a relationship and be sure to mention where you heard about CG.

CG no longer has green clay. Paul didnt want to order more for reasons I cant talk about. If you want the green clay contact FMINUS for he has a ton.

The blue clay will pick up more stuff, but it is a lot harder and less moldable.

Hey Bobby-Light, i was there also on Sun. Very cool people, the young girl helped me out. I just mentioned Phils name from the message board and thats all it took. I purchased waxes, polishes, glazes and micro fiber towels. The CG products works GREAT!

A female wasn't there when I was just Paul and a male associate. I went around 2pm. Paul wondered where I got my knowledge of their product line so I ended up mentioning FMINUS (Phil). Paul really hooked me up. Glad I made the trip.

Just got done with my engine detail. Looks good, but I forgot to pick up Fade2Black for the dressing. Looks like I need to make another trip.

Tell Paul you want Laser Buff 321 Swirl remover, this product is amazing, It exfoliates your paint, removes oxidation and swirl marks. Also it has wax so your car will end up very shiny, all in one step. My .02 cents

Yeah, he told me no green clay when I ordered as well. Wish I knew what was up with that. That's what everyone seems to love, but either way, I guess I'll have to do with the blue.
