Gents as you know the 320D comes with a rear silencer facing downwards, after checking on the Bay i observed some modifications.
Just checking if any members here have fitted the following kit and whare to find one at a decent cost. |

Not all 320d's have a downward facing pipe. See here for example:
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...diagId=18_0592 Your pictures look like they may be of a BMW Performance exhaust. In which case you can only buy them from a BMW dealer.

The above part number is for the rear box only; you will also need the bracket/both/clamp shown in your top picture, and you will need to cut your existing back box off as there are no factory clamps.
Full list of part numbers required are: 1: Back Box (Muffler): 18302185802 2: Hanging bracket: 18207526850 3: Torx bolt & washer: 51217062145 4: Rubber mounting: 18208511880 5: Exhaust clamp (60.6mm): 18307793025 |

Many thanks for the information, would i be correct that the threaded whole is already there from new, for the items 2 & 3.
Yes hole already there. And also after the original back box has been cut the new silencer will slip over the original pipe and then connected using clamp 5 Yes just slips over |

My task now is get one at a reasonable cost, there is big difference here but it may be there is the fitting kit that's with the one costing more.

You may not need to order a clamp separately. My Performance Exhaust came with the clamp supplied...

I suggest you approach BMW dealer Cotswold BMW. They offer a discount to members of this forum. See this thread:

I bought my perf exhaust from liebmann in Germany, but that was before brexit so the exchange rate was better.
