Some wiring changes, front tweeters swapped into e90 housings, etc ... nothing crazy.

wouldn't you need a logic7 head unit as well for it to work? or will coding be enough

Simple 1 parameter coding takes care of that.

Who will supply the programming? I have the E90 base system. Is this plug and play?

You need either CIC or verify your deck (professional) has optic output (most) If it does have optic out but is not connected you will need to add the most lines and a fiber optic distro. If you have Bluetooth you will generally have most and the distro in place. If you have the distro, add the additional lines and code the car.

For coding, there are a lot of people that can code it for you.

Forgot to mention, you will need either the mounts for the rear doors and cut the doors and the additional harnesses or logic 7 rear door panels and the door harnesses too.

If you were local then sure, otherwise, I suggest finding a local coder.

All that applies to the absolute base radio system which is rather rare in US.

If the car is equipped with 676 Professional or CIC radio, then it's very simple. The rear door wiring doesn't differ if there are speakers in doors already.
The tweeters mount in pre stamped holes with the locking rings, and feed off the woofers, via freq crossovers.

That is the problem, if they are using these as an upgrade from hifi then they won't be wired, stamped or have the brackets in the doors.

I am about to do the same retrofit in my wife's 328i.

Hi there, is this still for sale? If so, would you ship them all overseas at my expense?
