MHD stage 2 flash for my N54 - video and review

I recently flashed my car with MHD. I just wanted to make a review about it as It seriously couldn't have gone better. I flashed stage 2 93 octane on a STOCK car - stock downpipes and stock FMIC. I make about 16 pounds of boost and everything runs perfect. The reason im running stock downpipes is because I have catless downpipes now and was planning to install them right after the flash, but ran into trouble and have been waiting to install them for the past 2-3 weeks and ive been running the stage 2 map on stock downpipes. I will install catless downpipes first thing this summer once my exams and semester in college are over.

The flash only took 33 mins to write and worked flawlessly without any problems. After the flash, MHD took another 2-3 mins to clear codes. I then fired the car up to a silky smooth and loud cold start that settled down to a smooth, even Idle with ZERO lights, codes, or anything. I checked my MHD module module for the following: Air fuel ratio, turbo Wastegate duty cycle, boost, boost target, coolant temp, oil temp, RPM, and air intake temp. All numbers were perfect and I'm in love with how the MHD gauges look.

The flash its self is so damn smooth. I love the way my car drives. Its 100X better than stock and the throttle response is so predictable and smooth. Besides the power, this is a big upgrade from stock.

Now on to the Performance - My car pulls so hard!! The first few WOT's I was genuinely blown away. First gear WOT pulls so damn hard I can hardly make the shift to 2nd. and on the shitty tires I have now, I still break in 2nd gear a bit. I would guess my car is making 350+WHP on the stock downpipes and fmic. All it has performance wise is BMS DCI and now the mhd stage 2 93 octane tune. I cant wait to add more bolt on mods first thing this summer

Here is a video on flashing my car and start up, as well as a short 2nd-3rd gear pull in the beginning.

You know Stage 2 is for upgraded FMIC and DP's right?
Why aren't you just running Stage 1?
There's a reason why MHD recommends upgrading these parts.

stage 2 is recommended for upgraded downpipes only.
stage 2+ is downpipes and fmic

it says it right on the maps.

I have both catless downpipes and a 7inch VRSF intercooler sitting in my garage at home. I just have no time to install because its exams week in college. Ive researched it and stage 2 is perfectly fine for stock downpipes, and it will only another week till Im FBO and change to stage 2+

The main reason why you wouldnt want to do stage 2 on a stock car is because it targets 15-16 lbs of boost and that's too much for your stock chargepipe to handle. I have an upgraded VRSF chargepipe and HKS bov as well so i'm good there. Cant wait to make some real power on stage 2+ with the other mods
