Limp mode, transmission warning light, P17EA code

I replaced starter about a week ago (195 miles ago), currently at 95,098 miles.

When driving yesterday I had a red transmission warning light come one, turned around went home, almost made it. Car went into the limp mode about a mile away from my house. Check engine light came on as well.

Code scanner gives me P17EA code.

I didn't experience anything unusual with the transmission prior, only thing is the common forward jerk when coming to a stop that almost everyone is having, but no strange noises or performance, seemed completely fine before.

Also I changed the fluid/filter/mechanics seal at about 82,xxx miles.

Any pointers?
