Windshield molding replacement in San Diego
I figure a lot of people will have the same problem I had with my windshield molding cracking up, so I hope this helps. These guys did a perfect job replacing it (w/o removing the glass) and have lower pricing than All Star and Safelite. All Star said the glass needed to be removed and will likely break (the 1st person I spoke with was extremely rude as well). Safelite won't even replace molding bc they said the glass will def break. I've seen a lot of people do it themselves w/o removing it, so I knew that was bs.
They arrived early, were friendly and efficient. They even filled a glass chip that came back from All Star doing it a few years back. They also cleaned all of my exterior windows! Their pricing is lower than the rest, and customer service is a million times better! I'm so thankful to have found a new go-to auto glass company. They exceeded my high expectations, and treated my car the way I do. I would love to find a similar place up in Los Angeles. The front & rear molding on my 2011 E92 needs replacing as well. I thought I could do it myself, but am reticent to do so (noob) because I don't want to mess anything up.
Anyone know of a similarly trustworthy place in the 323/213/301??? THANKS FOR POSTING! -RMT |

Interesting, I had Safelite do a replacement a few months ago and they did not attached the bottom molding.
Started to leak water from the pass foot well. Just went to them yesterday (Reno Location) and they removed the windshield and put it back on with the molding attached. Didnt crack the old one surprisingly. I havent taken it through the wash yet though to see if they actually did it correctly. But they were able to remove the windshield and re-install the same one.
