2009 N54 DCT Track Day Journey!..
Furthering from my original thread (link below) of the resurrection after the accident I've decided to gear up my 2009 N54 335i DCT for track day activities. This thread will be regularly updated with relevant material throughout this journey.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1344466 Constraints will be time and money so this will be a work in process, but none the less the majority will be achieved solely with some aid from friends within specialised areas and of course the reliable forum community when I hit snags down the line or when advice is seen as advisable and neccassary. All Questions are welcome throughout... She's garaged up at the minute but I will be working mostly off jack stands and ramps when not at work chasing the money. (Shout out to Chris for loaning me his garage). In the meantime I'm on pushbike throughout this UK summer so Its all good! *To monitor progress, Dyno graphs and all other diagnostic info will be included along with TrackAddict results and GoPro images/ footages from the tarmac. * *Current Mods from stock include (To be updated as and when)...* Performance Mods: VRSF" DP's, BMS Intakes, EBC Slotted rotors, EBC yellow stuff pads, Remap 380horses before DP installation. Aesthetics Mods: 1M Front Bumper, Vinyl Wrapped Black roof, 5% Rear Tints, https://postimg.org/image/abwufg7mn/ Its time to turn her into a different beast...

oil temperatures could also be an issue while tracking. you may want to remove the plastic engine cover and the insulation shit underneath to help temps a little. |
