18x11 et 43
I have gotten a good response that I totally trust, but would like to know if anyone with a Pre-Lci e90 has actually ran this size wheel in the back without camber?
I don't want camber at all, I'm on KWv2s decent drop and I have shaved fenders. This is what I would like to run 18x11 et 43 out back w/ 295 or if it fits 305 r888s or something sticky the front is easy so I wont bore you!

I've got 19x11 ET35 with -2deg camber, which isn't far off standard amount and the rim touches the inner arch liner. I think it just about works as the arch liner flexes and I have a 275 that doesn't touch it.
I think you'd rub the arch liner/your tyre away as it will be touching constantly or it might hit the body and not even mount correctly. I'd be looking more around ET30 especially with wide tyres. |

Right. He's saying the clearance on the inner side of the rim might be an issue with such high offset and width.

Smallest hubcentric you can run on the rear is 15mm I believe, giving you ET28. I've got a 5mm spacer on mine, at ET40 it felt like it was about to touch the body and I had to force the arch liner to bend to get the wheel to mount.
It's a bit suck it and see at the end of the day, but I'd be surprised if you can fit that tyre inside the rear arch without rubbing on compression. Based on what I've seen with my setup I can't see how it would work. ET43 definitely won't work like I said, there's not 7mm more room on the inner arch of my setup, and mine wouldn't work if I didn't have stretch as the tyre would be rubbing against the arch liner constantly. I actually need to pull a wheel off and see what it's been doing to the car. |
