New twin scroll BB singleturbo kit at $2899???!

Did you guys see this? It looks like a company called You Wish Performance is releasing a twin scroll single kit that comes with a dual ball bearing turbo for less than On3 and JP... Might put a few people out of business...

https://instagram.com/p/BUM95m1lwyk/

This platform keeps getting cheaper and cheaper to make big power.

They have no pictures of the manifold, no dyno , no data and using a china turbo. ONLY a 6 month warranty for a reason lol.

lol that's true. Although it sounds like manifold pics and dynos are coming soon.

It does sound like it's a no name turbo but it's ball bearing. I know 6 months isn't much but do other single turbo kits warranty their turbos at all? Waste gates are Tial so that's good.

For the price it deserves a second look.

I know my jp kit on the fabricated parts is lifetime to the original buyer. Precision and tial have like 2 year warranties i think.

Just because the china turbo is ball bearing doesn't mean it is going to spool or provide a good power band like a journal precision let alone a ball bearing precision or Garrett.

Agreed. We'll see how the dynos turn out. It does say hot parts come with lifetime warranty.

It's posted on a Facebook group too and he says hot parts alone are $1500

So who's going to be the guinea pig that buys this and tells us how it goes?

There was a big conversation in one of the FB groups and it sounds like he's already taken a few orders. The fab work looks great, my only concern is the turbo. We'll see how it holds up. He also offers Precision turbos but I haven't seen the price difference.

A few other failures started that way as well, but hopefully it all works out good for this dude..

Its a shame that people will give up money without even seeing the manifold or the kit itself, Let alone dyno or logs.

Garage List
I looking through his Instagram I found at least one picture of You Wish in the middle of fabbing an n55 manifold. There's also lots of other pictures of fab work for many other Cars. Easy to judge for yourself what kind of work they do.
I'm not an expert welder, but the welds don't look bad. Even looks like he may be back purging his welds. Not sure about a Chinese turbo though. Any welding experts care to take a look and let us know what you think?

For less than the On3 turbo kit cost, i think its worth a shot. They do offer a PTE turbo option as well.

I wouldn't, look at the guys complaining. You think jpworkz takes along time look at how long most have been waiting for VM kits (6-8 months and some aren't even getting them)

Jp kits are still the most proven kit out, there are so many people running the kit. If you are a cheap ass and do not want a chinese turbo from on3 or you wish performance lol

$2699 bam so cheap and its a borg proven turbo on a proven kit

It's actually kind of funny how payam calls out jpworkz all the time but promotes acf who is much worse and less proven than jpworkz. The only reason acf doesn't get called out is because he's in bed with terry and payam at bms

The ywPerformance 6262 dual bb twin scroll

Aiming for 600 whp with relatively low boost pressures to avoid breaking rods on my DD. Gonna have to keep it super conservative at first, stock clutch 120k miles.
