wierd Sat Radio audio popping?
So,
I am driving along one day and for no reason sirius just stops playing thru my speakers. about 5 seconds later the sos light comes on and then I start hearing a loud popping thru my speakers even if the radio is off. I check to see if I can pick Sat on my options and lo and behold its gone. I was near the dealer so I drove straight over and had them take a look at it. That was monday on my commute into work. They have so far rebuilt /reflashed my ecu and did a bunch of progman reinstalls. and he error still keeps coming back. I have been with a loaner 328xi estate since Monday. <sigh> anyone else ever hear of this? I just want my car back and working like it was. this is my first BMW. I keep calling in and the SA has no more info or an ETA. thoughts? advice?

you say rebuilt "ecu" which is Engine Control. I think you meant the TCU, which is telecommunications unit. Far more likely candidate. But, if not actually replaced it may be the culprit.
