335i missfire/knocking

I purchased a 335i 6speed yesterday, the problem with it is the owner before me put a new 550i clutch and new flywheel in and it has a bad vibration. much worse under load but is still present at idle. it is also showing missfire cylinder 4, but after driving it 1 hour and 30 minutes home, it went in reduced power mode and showing missfire 1-6. could the clutch and fly wheel be the culprit of the missfire, or the missfire be the culprit of the shaking and knocking sound? I have a a video if I can get it to upload. I'll continue to work on getting the video up.

Misfire is more typically related to plugs, coils and injectors.. a set of plugs is a pretty quick and inexpensive place to start. Also, depending on miles, coils can be considered preventative maintenance..again, very easy!!

that doesn't sound like a misfire, you'd have a code if it was missing that bad anyways.

it sounds a little further back than the motor and had no noise prior to the clutch and flywheel swap (claims the previos owner)
It does throw a code, at first it was missfire cyl 4 then after getting the car home i rescaned and it showed miss fire cylinders 1 2 3 4 5 and 6

If you swap around two coils, the codes should follow the bad coil. That is a cheap way of determining a bad coil.

cleared the codes and took it for a drive, though the problem is still there. it only gave codes of cyl 3 missfire, cyl 2 missfire and a new one of P10A5 injectors initialization error (group 1) any idea What that one is all about?

Way over my head!!

I hope somebody with more experience can help here.. Sensors, fuel pump(s), injectors, coils, plugs...?

Have you tried swapping the coils at misfiring cylinders to see if problem follows coils??

First things first, get the correct parts on the car to treat the vibration. Next, if you're having misfires then check plugs, coils, injectors, and ensure the injectors are coded properly into the DME. Take the problems one at a time, and ensure the PROPER parts are used.

pulled the trans mission today. took me about 2-3 hours by my self. way easier than i was expecting heres a video if it runing with the transmission removed. thoughts? seems as though the flywheel is the culprit but I'd like a second opinion. I don't think a missfire would cause the fly wheel to woble and knock like that or would it?
