Detailing Nightshade

yup thats what I call it, Nightshade. my car was in pretty good condition untill the body shop that was doing my bumper decided to wash the car, and polish it out of w
goodwill, and what looked like steel wool. Holograms and swils galore. so I took it upon myself to get Nightshade back in shape. Sorry didnt take any before pics. The paint was so beat up that I didnt want to even look at it. anyway here are some after pics once I was done with my 20 hr routine.
wash, clay, decontaminate, correct, polish, glaze, seal, and finally wax.

Im no professional by any means, so please be kind

anywhow here are the cell phone pics I took just after

thanks! I mostly use CG products- v line polishes, but also carry M105 M205 combo, for jobs that may need it. Machine wise, I use 2- PC and Torq 22D. for pads, i mostly use the CG hex Logic pads (Orange and White 90%of the time), and have a few microfiber pads for heavier defects if needed.

how I got started?- well, its mostly just been youtube videos from Junkman, AmmoNYC, and CG. i used to pay professionals to do it, i saw them do it, and thought, this looks fairly easy (it really isnt!). so I bought a starter kit and started doing it myself. like anything I got better the more I did it- you learn what the paint wants, instead of using a fixed formula. I pretty much just do my car, and maybe a few friends'. speaking of which- heres my friends F30 335 which i detailed not too long ago ?

i think its well worth the money. rides better than my FSD/M sport combo. the ride is comparable to that of an e90 M3 ie. you feel the road more, the small undulations are noticable, but large dips and bumps are handled perfectly. For a $1000 i think these are probably the best coilovers you can get for the money. with an LSD the car is feels completely transformed.

think e90 m3 with edc in hardest setting. car stays flat, and mid corner bumps dont unsettle the car.

ive gone low all the way, which really isnt all that much. something like 30-35 mm. I had it done at GTPeace..not sure if you know them, but Galen liked the setup so much he did it for his F30.
