'07 328i... oil level always at max, is that ok??

Hi All-

I purchased my 328i this past September and now have 9100 miles on the car. I know the first oil change (per BMW) isn't until 15k miles... as someone who is used to the old 3000 mile interval changeup behavior, I have to say I am nervous but doing as I am told!

I have read in other forums that people have found their oil indicators to be faulty, going from max to zero and back again, etc. My question is... could my oil indicator be faulty if it ALWAYS reads "Max" after 9100 miles, no oil ever added? Even after the break-in period?

The car has been flawless, absolutely a dream to drive and without issue. Just wondering if I can confidently go these next 6000 miles or if I should be concerned that the oil change indicator is faulty and my engine is about to dry up. =)

i wouldnt worry about it...if the motor blows due to the oil level sensor being faulty its not your fault anyway..but if you bought the car id suggest changing the oil before the 15k..

what is weird is my car sometimes says oil level to low ive had it 3 times already, and it just dissapperars
