It's been a long time since I got into the forum hehe.... well now im back again! I've been driving alot lately and I got a lot of rattles in my car all of a sudden. 1st Whenever I go through a lil hill like when you go into your driveway when the shock compresses it makes a sound like its shrinking is this normal? I dont remember having those noices before. Also my sunroof makes noises when I open it.

Oh not good, I've not heard any stange noises, mine has been tight so far....When spring comes I'll find out about the sunroof open, I wish we could open them now

all of my windows started squeeking when going up. I'm not sure if it is because of the cold, or just bad luck. Also starting to hear some wind noise over the windshield A pillars over 80mph, but pretty infrequent.

How long have you had it, and what is your mileage?

I have this exact same problem. It's embarrassing especially when going over speed bumps. I believe we're talking about the same sound. I took it into the dealer and they replaced a front right strut which cost them about $1500 but they wasted their money because that didn't fix crap. Let me know what you do about your car.

sounds like you're going over the speed bumps too fast

lots of people abuse their cars and drive over bumps at higher speeds than they should

you're hearing the oil in the shock go through it at an alarming speed

I got it delivered in jan and have 4000 miles on it, and built in november

does anybody else have this problem with the sqeeking? Another thing that I really hate with the windows, and I believe that there was a topic on this before, is that when you roll them down wet, it stays wet and streaks every time you open the window for like a week and is really annoying.

I have a 2003 325xi and have had a "creaking" like noise in my rear suspension. The service dept. replaced the rear sway bar links and bushings. I don't exactly know what you mean by "sounds like its shrinking". Hope this helps...
