E60 mix, stock lpfp?
I've been running MHD's e40 map for a couple months now, done many logs, my lpfp seems healthy, rarely dips below 65, and I'm running 17.5-18 psi peak, tapered to 14.5, and I'm at 5000 ft of altitude on stock inlets. Am I safe to run e60 with my stock lpfp? Will I see any benefit, at the boost levels I'm seeing? Pretty much all the logs I'm doing make me think I might as well try it, since my high and low pressure pumps seem to be keeping up. But I'm looking for someone who has experience to chime in

I ran e60 on the stock pump several times with no issue. My friend needed a stage 1 pump. It's just the luck of the draw. E40 is about 97 octane and e60 about 100. You do get a little more headroom for a little extra timing and maybe an extra couple pounds of boost. An upgrade is cheap and good insurance, also easy to install. My stage 2 stays solid without a blip on straight e85 and 30psi.

Do eet.
Out of all the OTS "E" maps, E25 and E40 only feel like slight incremental steps when compared to Stage 2+. E60 is where the fun really begins...huge leap forward when compared to the other maps IMO. |

I found a thread, saying if you lpfp is above 50 you're good, rail pressure above 1500 ideally, and stft under +/- 35. I'm well within all those ranges on e40, so I'm gonna do it. I'll report back later if my car blow up

I must just have a particularly strong lpfp, hasn't dipped below 60 once and I've run 4 wot third gear logs. Pulls hard, zero timing corrections and my iats were a good bit lower than 91. Success I'd say

Stage 2+ Vargas turbos, they have more in them, but my HPFP doesn't. And I don't want to add a second meth nozzle. I have one on the charge pipe right now with a 50/50 mix which is the only thing keeping my air/fuels in check over 5k rpm.

well, I stand corrected. Under more load, (like uphill, wot) I've dipped into the upper 40's twice. Honestly, at lower altitude, I bet I'd be in more trouble, but I don't think I can hit more than 14-15 psi on stock turbos past 5.5k at 5k ft up, so that's what's keeping me safer in the top end. Just a good excuse for an upgraded fueling system though

e60 map. e40 I haven't dipped under 60 even. I have several logs where my lpfp seems fine on e60, but real world, I've been monitoring and it has dipped under 50 3+ times in the last 2 days
