Auto electrician needed in Adelaide

Guys,

Looking for an auto electrician in Adelaide who can perform this fix:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...+mode+-working

The M/S position in my E90 LCI 320d has failed. It sounds like it's not uncommon. I guess after using M mode for the last 8 years, mine has finally succumbed.

Happy as I am with using Adelaide BMW I know they're going to tell me I need a new shifter (which I simply can't afford to entertain at the moment) - I'd rather get this simple fix done.

TIA.

Most independent mechanics can perform this fix. It's usually just a spring inside the mechanism.
No need for an auto elec.

Thanks mate. Having lived with it for a bit longer (and noticed the indicator lights sometimes work and sometimes don't) I think your suggestion is closer to the mark.

At work it happens pretty often with Mondeos. Easy fix provided it is just a spring or something minor.
