Haha good for them, it's their own choice

Will never ever buy another ICE car. EV is so much better.

Good for you if you like to be driven rather than drive.

Note where JorgenM is located. He's biased, both by availability and by government mandate/incentive.

I'm not saying that EV isn't a viable option. I'm saying that Norway, considering the oil reserves it has, is currently pacing the world in hypocritical environmental viewpoints ...

I for one could not be more excited about the future electric offerings. Aside from my brief experiences with Tesla and the i3, I build and race high power electric bikes let me tell you it is crazy fun. For actual driving / riding enjoyment, electric motors CANNOT be beat. The power density is way, way higher than for combustion engines and torque curve is as ideal as you can get. The batteries are expensive and not that good yet, but they're very usable and will only get better.

That is and was only a marketing strategy. Try a Miata, 370z, shifter kart, or motorcycle if the ultimate driving experience is what you're after.

Good point on the bike thing. I might switch my interest to sport bikes (like a Honda CBR600RR). Will save me some good tens of thousands of dollars.

It's a more dangerous sport though. Go kart is less convenient.
