Opinions on Custom Vorsteiner hood...

So I just bought an m-tech front bumper with a vorsteiner lip for a deal I could n't pass up until what I really want (the Wald kit) is released after SEMA.

I've been tossing around the idea of getting a CF hood and have been getting some really mixed opinions on Vorsteiner hood. I looked into the M3 style, but fitament is poor, and it's hard for me to trust any other manufacturer than Vorsteiner. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like they will be making other styles...and I've grown really fond of the new vented E92 style.

That being said, I've been playing around with a couple different custom options to make a custom E90 Vorsteiner hood to pay homage to the E92 piece:

first one meaning the original or the 1st 'custom' option?

I like your idea on the first PS but I would just get the origional since there isn't that much of a difference (especially on black you'll barely be able to tell) and you could spend your money on other things, like the mtech rear

I'm gonna go against the grain here and say I like the second mock-up. I too like the E92 hood, but I wouldn't spend the $$$ to pay them to make a custom one. There are plenty of other things to spend money on. Why not spend the money on flashing the ECU instead? You already have a sick hood.

I like the e92 version A LOT. I spoke with the vorstiener guy, and he said they MIGHT be making the new v-35 style hood for the e90 since there has been a lot of interest in it.

The guy who was representing vorsteiner at the JLeviSW booth at Bimmerfest. He told me his name but I forgot. Maybe JLeviSW can chime in and help me out with his name.
