Mod my E90
Hi, guys. I've been lurking around here for a while so thought I'd break my silence and make a mods thread. I drive an auto 2011 320i and have done a few basic mods since owning it. There are couple things I'm planning on doing soon like install a new exhaust system and angel eyes to replace the dull yellow lights.
Aside from cosmetic mods, I am mainly interested in improving the overall performance (everything under the hood is stock) but I'll need some guidance here from people who are more informed as I am certainly no expert. I know, I know, there's not much I can do for gains on a 320i other than make it 'sound' fast but I'm not looking to compete with an M5 for example, just make it decent enough to feel the way I like to drive. Any input will be much appreciated! Thanks, fellas! Current mods: - Pirellis P Zero Dragon Sport - 19" BM CSL WHEELS - Eibach Pro Kit - Gloss black grilles - Vinyl wrapped gloss black trim |

Here's a pretty good set of mods for an N/A E90:
-M3 control arms (Front upper and lower) -M3 front sway bar -Secondary cat delete -Blacked out corners -Un-plug battery overnight to re-learn driving style -ECU Tune (combined with cat delete will probably make 20ish horsepower) -Dinan throttle body -Headers with high-flow cats or no cats -With headers and upgraded throttle body you'll need a less restrictive intake as well. It's pretty easy to make your own with piping and a name-brand cone filter |

Surprising lack of "BUY A 335" answers. IISevv got you covered on performance mods. The biggest way to improve the driving feel of it would be suspension. An exhaust will make it a bit more fun as well. I'm not sure I would recommend pursuing power mods. The 320i is a fine car but simply isn't a powerful car and I don't think trying to make it something its not is a good investment. Personally I would put that money towards my next car. You have a sweet ride. Enjoy it for what it is. Make it pretty. Make it loud. Don't get bogged down in shit like horsepower figures and 0-60 times.
