Misfire same cylinder changed everything

I'm not one to ask stupid questions but I've searched every forum and done everything to diagnose my misfire. I changed my valce cover gasket plugs coils and have index 12 injectors and I have a constant misfire 1. I have moved plugs replaced coils moved injectors everything still same cylinder misfire. Has anyone experienced misfires in one cylinder that is not related to coils, plugs, injectors and was something else? I want to get this sorted out I just paid for a custom tune and can't even use it My car was running perfect b4 the VCG new coils and plugs now misfire if I step on it but if I ease into it no misfire. I did a compression test and the numbers were good.

Worst case scenario would be the DME.

Happened to a friend recently, with an '08, with >120K miles

Could a damaged air intake valve cause this?

Maybe previous owner damaged it during cleaning.

Have you done any work prior to the misfire, are you triggering code for this, and is it in the whole rpm band or just the higher? So if you pull the connector off there is no difference ? Check the connector for power and its wires, what's the code?

O2 pre-cat sensors?

Has the car ever had the intake manifold walnut blasted? Maybe Cyl 1 is full of crap ie worse off than other cylinders.

Get a compression and leakdown test done on all cylinders. If the cylinder you're seeing the misfire on tests much lower then you've narrowed down your possible number of problems.

I'm leaning towards HPFP throwing an inactive shadow code long cranks rail pressure under 1k during misfire logs

The injector in 1 is not enlarged can assure that the issue is either HPFP mosfets or something with electrical. B4 changing tune coils plugs gasket I had a no misfire car and great logs to show for it. Now my rail pressure is low

If it's always the same cylinder I can't see it being hpfp. Have you tried gapping that one down to 18?
I hate this for you man. I know it's frustrating as hell.

Thought the same thing but on facebook group replies from 2 people stated there's was misfiring on only one cylinder and was a hpfp issue. I will gap the plugs down tho forsure
