Extreme N00b ???
Ok....i didnt order my car with the aerodynamics kit. I'm looking into adding a better look to the front.
Is the M-Tech/M-kit/OEM Kit all the same thing. I'm so confused and is there a bumper add on and a spoiler add on or just 1? Thanks in advance.... |

The M-tech kit is a factory option and is a completly different bumper. Both the Mtech and standard bumpers have Carbon fiber lip kits that you can purchase from BMW and add to the bumpers. The lip kits are different and are not interchangable between bumpers. Ofcourse there are a few aftermarket lip kits that mostly are for the standard bumper but none of them look good IMO. if you dont want the overpriced BMW cf lip kit for your car you should probubly try to search through the sponsors section and find some painted ones. I got mine from CarKing for a great price and love them.

You didn't mention if you have a sedan or coupe.. the "M-Tech" or "M-Aerodynamic" kit for the coupe is a stick-on lip and replacement rear bumper. The "M-Sport" bumper is a complete replacement that isn't DOT approved, so it needs to be privately imported.
