Anyone every use the PosiPen?

I'm trying to find a relatively inexpensive way to measure paint thickness with some degree of accuracy.

Also, what's the standard clear thickness on our hood?

Very cool, that sounds promising and is WAY cheaper than what I was looking at.

I have a Harbor Freight locally...gonna see if they carry this. If not, I can always return it if I order online.

I actually checked my local Harbor Freight yesterday, and they did not have. You may have better luck.

After a bit of searching, it looks like our clear averages 35-45 microns...can any professional detailer corroborate this number?

Also, any insight on the depth of just the paint layer (not primer + paint) would be very much appreciated.
