Flashed MHD w/ jb4 disabled
Flashed to MHD stock map 0, jb4 is disabled via steering wheel controls. Before I spend 27$ on the jb4 iphone app, whats needed to connect to the jb4 via bluetooth?
I don't have the usb cable that comes from the other side of the jb4 board. FBO 07 335xi edit, I'm assuming I need the cable to run firmware updates for the jb4. Last edited by socool88; 07-29-2017 at 12:26 PM.. |

I would install the USB connector and update the JB4 from a PC.
That works much better than a Bluetooth connection and the software is free. You could update the JB4 with MHD compatible maps whenever you want. |

The Bluetooth adapter is $140.00 http://www.burgertuning.com/bluetoot...nnect_kit.html Both require about the same amount of effort to install. Both do the same thing. USB provides more reliable connectivity. The location of the Bluetooth antenna will be important as your car will tend to act as a Faraday cage. |
