My car makes the exact same sound as this car in the exhaust demo video below. Its hard to desccribe, but there is a tick/click sort of noise after i let off the gas, or in between shifts. Is this wastegate rattle? Or just standard function of the wastegate closing hard and making noise? Any insight is greatly appreciated. It aligns with most of the wastegate rattle symptoms, but its not really a rattle, just a quick click/hiss noise.

The noise can be heard when the person revs the engine and the RPMs drop after the rev.

Nobody? Hmm interesting... I assume by the silence that its not wastegate rattle. I do have a bad VANOS solenoid; it could possibly be caused by that.

All i heard after rev was BOV

The quick hiss you might be referring to is the BOV, it sounds like... which should come after a shift or letting off the gas at high RPM

It's the exhaust flap, controlled by a solenoid to reduce exhaust noise under regular driving and it opens with high revs or sporty driving. It's closing after the rev which is what I hear.

I don't hear a tick or a rattle. Just the blow off valve venting to atmosphere. If your car doesn't have one of those(it won't unless it's been modded), you shouldn't be hearing the same sound.
