Question Time for a new TV. Suggestions?

My 7 year old Samsung plasma is taking a dump. I've looked at some TVs in stores. I'll be going with a 4k LED TV. I want 65" or bigger. Leaning toward the Vizio P series or Samsung MU6300 as of now. They are the same $ so I would go Samsung. Wouldn't mind the MU8000, but I can't get my cheap ass to spend $1600. Is the Mu8000 really worth the extra $400 over the 6300?

No Sony. I looked at LG too & not as bright as Samsung so pass.

Been talking to several Best Buy Magnolia reps. The best out there now is hdr oled tv's and the best of those is Sony. There is a difference. I currently have a curved 65" uhd 3d samsung. But at this point in looking at the Sony hard.

4k is what I am getting. I'm not dropping thousands on a TV again. Which model do you have?

I have a Samsung something or another 4K curved. My only advice would be to skip the curve. Honestly it's no more immersive unless you are a foot away. It's just an added cost with no big benefit. It's my only regret on the purchase.

Just got my 65" Samsung ks8000 yesterday. I believe the mu8000 replaced the ks, however, the ks has better reviews. Coming from a 7 year old 55" LCD it's quite the difference. Input lag is very low if gaming is something your interested in. Price was 1500 from Amazon.
