I just got through claying my car and was wondering should I use
a cleaner wax before applying sealant. I've searched a lot about this
and I'm not sure if sealants will bond after using cleaner wax. My
car doesn't really have any scratches only some very minor swirling here
and there. So I was going to use the cleaner wax since they claim it has
very mild polish in it to alleviate swirls. The cleaner wax I have is Meguiar's cleaner wax and the sealant i'm using is NXT. Appreciate your help!

Don't use a cleaner wax, if you want to use a chemical cleaner use Klasse AIO. It will clean the paint and leave a good base for a sealant. If not, you can just put the sealant on right after you clay. Claying cleans the paint well enough that you can put on a sealant w/o any problems.

if your set on using just the things you have, you should be fine. The first time i waxed i used Colorx cleaner wax and sealed with nxt and it came out real nice. But for better results do what TRICKE90 said.

I use a cleaner wax every once a month. doesnt really give me a "wet" look, instead, the wax just makes the surface more smooth, so more water will repel from my car.. *useful in our rainy vancouver weather*

Well, neither can accomplish both feats. Caly will perform surface cleaning but wont rejuvinize the depth like a polish or even paint cleaner would. Then again, a polish wont remove surface contaminants like clay. Your best bet? Let each product prove its roll. I would opt for either a light grade polish, or paint cleaner for best looks. Then apply your sealant.
Anytime your want to enhance your paint, its going to take at least two steps. I would say paint cleaners or polishes are mandatory before sealing. (but not resealing/layering).
