Dipped Beam failure

hey guys,

I changed out my headlight bulbs and I ended up getting some error code. The pic looks like the high beam or fog light icon with an "!" in the middle of it. Looking online to see what this error was, it said that it was a dipped beam left and right failure. Have it checked out by BMW service.

Any ideas what that actually means? my headlights look straight to me, as i only installed the bulbs for it.

Your headlights may look straight but dipped beam is another word for your low beam headlight is going out. I just installed new bulbs for both my dipped beam bulb D1S and the halo bulbs (H8) and the fog lights I put a HID kit on. I also have get the dipped beam error message on my dash while driving and I notice my bulb going in and out. I ordered two brand new D1S bulbs from a different seller off eBay and will be putting them in today. I will update later once I see if the dipped beam error message goes away or not.

So my led lights are brand new and just installed them on Wednesday. I would turn them on and the trot light doesn't come on until after a few minutes but my headlights are working perfectly fine. Is it possible that some lights will cause the error to come up? Is there a way to code so it doesn't come up?
