I need to replace my drivers side bulb (hope that will take care of the issue). It stays on for about a minute then flickers then shuts off and I get the low beam bulb out on the dash.

I found the below replacement is this a good price? Also should I just replace both at the same time?

Does anyone happen to know what the color temperature is for the rings and xenons on the newest 2017 BMWs?

I saw the newest 2017 G30 5 series and the Xenons looked much cooler than 4300K. Maybe 4800-5400K? They seemed to match the rings much better in color temp.

Not sure about a new car but if you want something with a little hint of blue consider the Osram CBI 5500K. They are really a 4300K output with a slight hint of blue.

I run them on my cars.

What do you mean, they are really only 4300K?

I'm considering the Philips Xenon WhiteVision, 5000K pure white with no blue.

They have the output of a 4300K bulb. As you go up in the kelvin scale you lose output.

So the point is even though they are 5500K, they are not only very white (with minimal blue) but they have just as much output as a 4300K.
