After market exhaust removal

Hi everyone,

Question regarding removing aftermarket exhaust and changing back to OEM.

I bought 2008 335xi coupe manual with GThaus axle back exhaust a year ago already installed on it. I see that it is welded to pipes coming from secondary exhaust. So, in order to remove out the exhaust, do I have to cut it from point where it welded and weld the OEM at exact point? Or, take out the entire assembly and put the OEM so I don't have to weld anything. Which way will be easier and cost effective.
Dont' have any pics at this moment.

Thanks

You're easiest route would be to cut unless there's section that can be unbolted. I don't think there is until the downpipe connection though.

easiest route would be to find someone with a stock set-up that wants your set-up and swap with them

Thanks for the reply guys. I am trying to sell the exhaust. Trying to go back to OEM. But I have no idea for how long ago this exhaust for installed. Its retails at 2500 US + taxes. Any ballpark how much this used exhaust should go for? Following is link fir exact exhaust.
