Nice job, I see I'm not the only one who utilizes the upside down bucket seat when polishing the side panels.

Wow, that really is one of the best paint correction jobs I've ever seen. The swirls were terrible before. Great job!

It's lighter but the lowest rpm's are 1100 which is higher than you want especially when finishing off soft paint, plus it's not as powerful as the Makita. I'd go with a Makita or Hitachi, whichever you can get a better deal on. The Hitachi is actually lighter than the Makita, and more powerful. It also goes from 600-3400 rpms like the Makita. Since you're stepping up to the rotary I recommend picking up some 3m ultrafina also, it makes finishing hollogram free on any finish a breeze.

Nice paint correction!! Do you like the gray clay from CG? Have yet to get clay and the rumor is CG doesn't have the green clay anymore. Great Work!

Bump...

I actually have a new Metabo, but on my latest detail, used the Makita the whole way. I learned with the Makita, so its imbedded into the coordination of my shoulders. LOL

+1 I was just thinking the same thing. Although I have to say, it looks like they have as much orange peel as our cars.

Beautiful correction work! Did the whole car require the Power Gloss compound? What speed do you work with that on the Flex? Asking because I thought you had to slow it down somewhat when using compounds.

Love the Evil Twin photo.
