Roll Cage Paint Color?

We're at the point with the build where we'll be painting the interior and rollcage of the 335 track car. Need some help. We are absolutely going to continue with the old Lotus 79 "John Player Special" black/gold livery on the outside (here's how it looks)

So we're tossing around interior paint colors. The most common race car interior colors are either white or silver/gray. I tried white and its out. I was either liking silver or gray, and threw a long shot out there... gold. It definitely is not a color you typically see in a race car. Below are samples of how each looked. Please feel free to share thoughts.

Gold would look excellent and match the exterior theme of the car very well. Silver is a close second in my book. Ditto on disliking the white.

Thanks guys! My hesitation with gold was that it could look super cheap if it was a bright gold (search "gold roll cage" and you'll see what I'm talking about). That said, I think we're safe with the color above. I have a bronze option that I'm thinking about as well... should have the final decision nailed down by the end of the week

ooohh Bronze would probably look better than gold IMO. bronze was kind of what I was thinking when I said gold.

Quick update for all who voted. The final color was...

Could not be happier with the end result. This is the perfect color combo to pay tribute to the old Lotus 79 black/gold livery that we'll be running. Thanks all for your input!
