E93 replacement xenons
Hi guys,
Want to replace my xenon for my E93 as im getting a right low beam malfunction warning. There seem to be many of them online with very different prices: 1. Ebay - $15 - http://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-D1S-35W-O....c100338.m3726 2. Philips - $55 - https://www.amazon.com/Philips-Singl...ype=automotive 3. OSRAM Sylvania - $70 - https://www.oembimmerparts.com/BMW-3...shoppingengine Was wondering which one is the best and if any of these are duds. Thanks! |

I would avoid the Ebay one, because it is most likely a knock-off and low quality.
The phillips bulb is widely carried at most automotive part suppliers and is a decent replacement. I can't speak to the color match to the existing OEM bulb.

#3 is the stock bulb and the right one to buy. You can get it from almost any auto parts store. I highly recommend replacing both at the same time.

PowerBulbs.com is listed on both Phillips' and Osram's website as their online vendor.
I've been looking to go with something cooler in temp. 5000K is a pure white with no blue tint. Phillips Xenon WhiteVision Gen2 is a pure white 5000K bulb. Stock is a yellower 4300K. When shopping, keep in mind anything over 5500K and output starts to diminish. Also, since PowerBulbs is a UK company, your credit card company may charge an international fee. My Visa charges 3%, but PowerBulbs has 20% off so I don't care, plus I know I'm purchasing an authentic product from a site recommended by both companies. |

I would also consider Osram CBI which are 5500K. New models come with them standard and their pure white colour look much better
