Who does custom map for XEDE?
I want to add DP's and FMIC but AA says that their XEDE does not take advantage of DP's. So either it's a custom map or I'm selling it and getting the JB2/3. If someone does make a custom map, does that mean I have to ship the XEDE and wait for a new one? Help.

Not anymore, they weren't custom anyways.
Why would you sell an XEDE for a JB2? That's like going from a BMW to a Kia...the XEDE is a complete tuner...at least upgrade and go for Helix, a flash, or PROcede... |

Mine was the last one set up for my mods. VIP doesn't do it anymore because it would be too much support for out of towners but they still do a lot for the local folk.

Well at least the JB2 is more tuner friendly in terms of recognizing mods. Out of the tuners that you recommend, which is the best if you plan on adding DP's, exhaust, & FMIC?

So he doesnt have to put up with CELs, Limps and he pays under 400 rather than pay over well over a 1000. just my guess.

I laugh at comments like this... I have run nearly every tune. And the only codes I get are Cat inefficiency codes.. 420, 430.. You can not compare what is being done with the JB to what is being done with actual tunes. It is impressive that he has found a way to create power and do so with simple electronics. However, it still is what it is and will never be anything more than that until it has its own processor. And by the way, if you live by the mentality that you can pay 400 and get the performance of something that is 1000... why did you buy a BMW in the first place? May have been better off in a Dodge or Ford, same performance no?

We custom tune Xede's here at the shop. We just installed one yesterday on a 2008 335 with a custom map for our High velocity intake system. The car runs strong and best of all no check lights or limp modes! Let me know if you want a custom map for your car. Thanks.
Best Regards, Max-

Logic did a great job with my car yesterday. Runs perfect no codes or CELs or anything. I highly suggest Logic, especially to anyone in the SoCal area. You are in Charlotte, I am not sure what you can work out with Max, but you should contact him via PM.

I tried a "custom" map with the Xede when I had DPs, but I didn't like the map at all. It was very jerky, so i got rid of the Xede all together.
The power was good for the time though. Here's my thread: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...4100&highlight

How much did it cost to go from V1 map to V2 maps? How much did it cost to go from V2 to V3 maps? Every tuner wants their cut; especially when there is a specific map for a customer that is not being sold to everyone.
