Black Line Recommendation Please!

The color of my e90 is Titanium Silver and I wanted to get the DEPO ones.

Other people said the lighter shade like the OEMs looked a lot better for my color.

But in this vid I really liked how the DEPO's looked on his car. (Unless I'm really blind and those aren't DEPOs)

Any help?

I've got the depo black line on my e90 prelci and they look great but since I ride with my parking lights on all the time the bulbs have melted the middle of the lights a little so it droops a tad in the middle. Doubt oem ones would do that

Full Disclosure: I've never owned the DEPO versions, but when I was going through this debate all my research led me to the conclusion that the DEPO tails were of much lower quality than the OEM Blacklines. Tales of leaky/melted housings are everywhere.

Yes, the OEM's are more expensive, but when you consider the high failure rate of the DEPO's, one set of OEM tails is cheaper than 2 sets of DEPO's. Buy once, cry once.

Oh snap,

Never heard anything bad about the DEPOs till now.

I gotta do more research before I buy but I love the way the DEPOs look for my car.

I could just buy a tint and make the OEMs darker. Just a thought.

Just shop for OEM blacklines in the used section. At least you know that quality is good than the depo ones.

The guy you want to buy them from is fishcake123 or something like that. I have them on my E90 arctik metallic and they look great and have held up well for the 1+ year I have had them.

Depo's are fine and the LED ones look much better than the old style bulb.

Yes they are. But to not be laughed at you better do a damn good job cleaning them before you do it or it will peal and look horrible. You can't tell they are plastidiped unless you get up close and look inside the wheel. I ended up with APEX Arc-8's in the same color and it looks much better though as the sport rims were temps.

I bought mine from khoalty.com but these appear to be the same. The Depos are darker than the OEM. Mine never leaked and still look nice after 7 years except for the melted part (sagging) in the middle but that didn't occur until the last couple years. I'll post a pic in a few
