Passenger Airbag Light due to Loose Battery!!!

If you have an Airbag/Seatbelt light that comes on intermittently, it might be related to a loose battery in the trunk.

My 2006 330i had such an issue. The passenger airbag/seatbelt light would come on at random. I finally pulled the codes using Carly, which showed a '0093B2 - Safety battery Terminal' code, meaning my airbag system was loosing power momentarily at random. After digging around on the 'net, i found this video explaining the battery terminals on BMW https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c26Jq1O1m0M

Long story short, I realized that my non BMW battery was smaller than the original, thus moving during travel over bumps, and causing the intermittent power loss. I re-positioned the battery and used several foam pads to ensure it did not move...an voila no more airbag codes!!!
