DWR Tranny Tune

Just a big shout out to DWR for working with the community to develop this tune. My transmission is now buttery smooth and shifts just feel natural, dependent on throttle input, in D & S modes. In S mode, tranny also shifts to 6th at cruising speed, unlike my previous stage 3 1.1 hybrid, which would just hang in 5th gear regardless of speed. Certainly a huge improvement for me, since I do not have paddles and do get lazy using S mode. Manual shifts are not as harsh and again really smooth.

PM DWR, he can provide info about the tune. Everyone needs to purchase it! It's 100% better than the xhp stage 3 tune.

First, thanks to everyone for the nice compliments.

Second, thanks to TDIwyse for providing references, as only he can.

The process works like this:
1) PM me so that we can exchange private email addresses (cost info also).
2) Send a copy of your xhp.state file to me.
3) An encrypted custom tune is created for your vehicle.
4) A PayPal request is sent to you.
5) After payment a custom file is sent to you.
6) Place file into xHP custom folder. Refer to xHP manual for installation.
7) Enjoy!

Finally, you should know that proceeds go into research and development, that will hopefully provide additional value to this community. As a sneak preview, currently working on an 800 psi, pumpless, 3 stage H20/Methanol injection system.

yes you buy the flash license. that will allow you to upload DWR's tunes. which is a separate cost from him. if you want a xhp tune you can purchase also at the listed price..

Yes or an android simulator. I used a cheap new old stock samsung s3 from ebay that I picked up for $30. Visit the xhp website for more info.

I ended up purchasing from AARodriguez, via NA 335D/x5 facebook page xHP license group buy, with micro usb adapter. You can also get the cable from bimmergeeks. Cable is also available cheap from ebay/china, but whether it works has been hit or miss depending on the seller/supplier.

It says I need to uninstall xHP from the other vehicle before I can flash, with no option to purchase another license...

I message xHP on facebook but no reply as of yet.
