WTB FuelIt Stage 2 LPFP
As per title need a stage 2 LPFP setup, am currently trialling e40 and LPFP is struggling
Goal is e85, assuming stage 2 will be enough since I'm not going too wild on tune, still running stock turbos and CP so assumimg 20PSI will be my absolute limit |

Why not do a DIY stage 2? I'm about to do one ordered all my parts off eBay last week when they had 10% off cost me $220 total. Pretty straight forward.

With 100% E85, 100% Meth, FBO+Inlets and a tune that'll kill your turbos in a week MMP pulled 500whp with stock turbos. People who don't have replacement snails sitting in the shed max out somewhere around 450rwhp with Meth & E85. Your HPFP becomes the problem with pure E85. It's unlikely you'll be able to pull 20psi on pure E85 and still have enough fuel. From what I've read you _can_ do pure e85 as long as you limit your boost and expect less than 430rwhp. I just put in a Stage 2 bucketless - it cost $620AUD after exchange rates and shipping. DIY install was very straightforward. (You just have to be a bit patient with some of the clips) |

I'm starting to think I might just run a 50/50mix, I don't want to dig into the HPFP, or run a hobb switch if I can avoid it, just more things to go wrong, so the stage 2 bucketless that you installed looks like a good option. |

I've heard of guys running 100% E85 on stock turbos without crashing their HPFP without PI (dont know of anyone personally just on FB pages etc) but I don't really see the point as it becomes a law of diminishing gains after E50 on stock turbos really.
You're best to stick to E50/E60 that way you get more then enough octane still maintain the lubricity properties of the 98 and you wont get shit cold starts on cold mornings that's associated with straight E85 ![]() Buy the E85 clalculator app on the google play store it makes it very easy to mix ratios! Once you go E85 you'll be needing sticky tyres, subframe bushings and a LSD let me tell you ![]() |

You can detune the car and run on full E85 so you don't have to mix it. With a Stage 2 LPFP, it'll be right on the edge of HPFP's flow rate.
Tawfeeq did this before going PI and worked well for him.

If you want to run E50/E60 mix and not overload your HPFP, install a Throttle Body Injection Kit (TBI) which is easy to do. My car ran a 11.28s and put out 383rwkw running on a E60 mix with a TBI Kit, Stage 2 Fuel-it LPFP and RB turbos. There was no issues with the HPFP.

Save yourself $1 and grab a copy of my E85 calculator in excel or google sheets formats. It's easier than the app because you can set it up once with your local fuel types and desired ratio then just change the qty required. Best of all, it's free! E85 Ratio Calculator [End Shameless Plug] Yeah, with E50 - E60 you can safely run JB4 Map 7 or the MHD E60 OTS maps, which saves money in a custom tune. (You still have to take logs and make sure everything is okay!). Mods in my signature - I'm running E50 now and making ~435rwhp on stock turbos without PI or meth. I've really now reached the point of diminishing gains - I might be able to get another 20rwhp by installing meth, but anything more and I'm looking at new Turbos and probably PI. Pure E85 is a convenience only thing. If you can find a gas station with E85 and Petrol on the same pump (so you don't have to move your car) mixing is really easy. Until you've spent massive money on your fuel system, you'll get the maximum power from a N54 with an E60 mix. Last edited by xQx; 09-13-2017 at 12:08 AM.. |

![]() I find mixing is simple, fortunately my united has 98 next to e85 (just have to pay twice) or I drive 5 mins to BP and fill up with 98. |

![]() But more realistically, I think it would cost around $800 AUD to get a new one here, maybe more, so I'd guess around the 400-500 range would be about right? I always think about half price from new is about right for 2nd hand, no warranty etc so taking on some level of risk MJ, how much below 500 were you thinking? I think I'm going to head the bucketless route now though easier to upgrade to stage 3 if I want to later and I can do that for about $650 |

Brand new bucketless is $580AU shipped to your door.
Do you ever come to Sydney? If so, I'm about to order from Fuel-it and we could combine shipping |
