Any other source for AA headers?

Hey all,

Active has a 1-2 week backorder delay on the N52 headers. I've looked around and seems like all the resellers I found just drop-ship from Active anyway.

Any ideas if there's somewhere that may have one in stock? Getting hold of one sooner potentially saves me a week or two of paying for a rental car.

thanks

This forum user has a used set he's selling ... I was looking to purchase them myself but decided to hold off on the project for now.

I have a set of AA headers, there in excellent condition, all new hardware. I bought them to put in my e60 and modify e90 mid to run them, I'm going to to a n54 swap and currently stripping the 535. I was holding of for n52Tuned, if he dosent want them, I'll let them go. Thank you

Lmao well the fitment is terrible, but the design and performance of the headers is honestly really good for the money. There was a thread on these headers somewhere and the conclusion was that the headers are actually pretty good except for the connection feed thing where all the spaghetti tubes connect and they’re apparently a pain in the ass to install. The steel is Russian so that’s good quality, and the overall design/welds and craftsmanship is far better then what you would expect from replicas. For $500 all together, half that price being shipping fees from Russia it’s worth a look if you’re on a budget, especially if OP is one of those people who blows $1000 on catless headers and then forgets that he needs an additional $500 for the tune

How many of these have you inspected, installed, and beta tested? Don't tell us how figment is if you never owned one. You sound like some guy at a yard sale.

, thanks for the laugh!

no, I agree with you though. But spoken to people who have installed these headers and spoke to the owners on their insta page so my information is accurate. it's just so you people know there are other options out there.

AA headers cost like 650 $ us when they are on sale.

I remember last year when I bought them it was like 900 $ canadian after it was all set and done which included shipping.

The shop where I got them installed was very surprised at how easy it was to install AA header, fitment was perfect according to them. I paid 550$ for installation , which included 3 stage intake install.

I m not sure if you were saying these Russian headers cost 500$ us or Canadian. If it is US then I would say for a 150 $ -200$ more you can have a known header like AA and avoid the hassle of installation fitment

Russian steel is actually some of the worst quality in the world. Even Chinese is significantly better. We occasionally use stuff from Chinese mills but Russian stuff is verboten..

I normally apologize and explain to them that we are trying our best to get it shipped out asap.

Yesterday i was not able to control myself as much because i got a lot of angry emails. Customers were expecting delivery from & to Florida during Hurricane Irma

Normally, it's not but my car's been down for repairs and I'm paying for a rental while I wait on parts. So the sooner the better

Active absolutely hooked me up and can get a set shipped out this Friday. They even gave me a preorder discount. My first time dealing with them and I am incredibly impressed.

In a world of instant gratification, apparently dealing with a hurricane comes second to fulfilling orders. You guys take your time, screw those imbeciles. God be with all you in Florida. Fingers crossed Maria gets blown out to sea.

Some people are unbelievable ... I had a customer who left FL to another country during hurricane week but was complaining why UPS did not deliver the package to his house yet.

1- he expected UPS to work during Irma
2- he was also expecting them to leave the DP package in front of his door
