New HPFP rough idle problems
Alright, I know this topic has been beat to death, but couldn't find any fixes relative to what I did.
N54, 93k on the clock. Catless DP, Stett CP, Synapse BOV, JB4. Was having some issues on start-up and car not performing great. Figured before it totally went out on me, I would change the HPFP. While I had it torn apart, figured I should upgrade some other things as well. I switched out HPFP, High pressure sensor, low pressure sensor, and all 6 injectors to index 12. Torqued everything to spec. Reprogrammed using INPA to set correct values. Car seems to drive fine, no errors, and its only on start up (doesn't matter if cold or warm) for maybe 2-3 minutes or so. Basically about the same time it takes for the exhaust to quiet down (golf tee mod) On start up the car stumbles a bit. Nothing huge, doesn't feel like it's going to stall, it just fumbles around a bit. Much more than it did with the old HPFP. Since I changed both HPFP and Injectors, is there some learning period, or possible some adaptions I need to reset somewhere? The other thing I found odd was that I just had walnut shell cleaning less than a year ago. And the intakes looked pretty darn gunked up. Way more than I would have expected in only a years time. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions? I'll post pics of the intake valves to show what 1yr (about 9-10k) looked like. Thanks all! |
