E92 Rear "Drag Setup" Help

Hey guys,

I'm currently running MMP S3 twins and having some trouble hooking. I'm looking to get one of the fattest tires possible I can on the rear of my E92.

I'm currently running a 19x9.5 et 22 with a 255/30/19 Mich Pilot Super Sport and it's just not cutting it, and as you can imagine, with my offset I can't fit much wider of a tire because it is too aggressive and I will begin to rub.

From my research it looks like a 17 is the smallest wheel I can fit in the rear with stock brakes, would it be possible if I ran like a 17x10 et ?? with something like a 295/45/17 tire? I'm just looking to run something fat, not only so I can hook, but to look aggressive and fill the gap.

Would appreciate some input

I run 275/40/17 R888’s on Apex 17x9.5 ET35. I highly recommend the R888’s for high power applications.

My previous tires were 19” Michelin PSS which were worthless and dangerous @650 RWHP.
